Heart disease accounts for more than 280,000 deaths in the country.
According to a report by the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (SBC), cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attacks, strokes, and sudden death, account for 30% of deaths in the country. In 2023 alone, the SBC's "Cardiometer" platform recorded more than 280,330 deaths related to these illnesses, offering a comprehensive visualization.
