We successfully performed a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure procedure using the Boynton CeraFlex™️ device at Hemodinâmica São Lucas in Natal, together with the team of Dr. Antônio Fernando and Dr. Bóris Ivan.

A patent ductus arteriosus (PFO) is an opening between the atria of the heart that, when it does not close naturally after birth, can be associated with strokes of unknown origin. The procedure is minimally invasive, performed with light sedation and access via the femoral vein, allowing for discharge the following day and a quick return to activities. A safe and modern solution to prevent future complications.
